The silence between these words does more work than most poems do with a hundred. 'Ouch!' hitting harder than any elaborate metaphor could — that's the kind of controlled restraint that takes real courage to leave on the page. Beautifully fractured.

I think silence has always been part of the writing for me. Sometimes what remains unsaid carries more weight than the words themselves.

And honestly, “Ouch!” felt almost too small when I wrote it, but maybe that fragility is exactly what gave it its shape.

“Beautifully fractured” is such a beautiful way to describe it. Thank you for that.

It honestly means a lot when someone sees it the same way. Sometimes certain thoughts just live quietly inside us, and writing becomes the only way to let them breathe.
